Todas las subastas / Varios / Fireplace accessory (5) - Brass - Impressive windmill hearth set
A very beautiful and impressive fireplace set, a true eye-catcher in your living room for the fireplace. A somewhat rare fireplace set with a genuine Dutch scene. The overall height is no less than 1.20 m and weighs about 9 kg. The fireplace set features a centerpiece on top with an image of a windmill with sails. All components also bear an image of a windmill. The whole stands on a nicely worked base, whose three legs have a twisted pattern. Made of yellow brass and dating from around 1900. The fireplace set is in good to very good condition, especially considering its age; the left hook is a tad crooked and one blade of the poker has a small piece missing, none of which stands out too much. See the attached photos for an exact impression. The package will be carefully packed and insured for shipping. The windmill will be packed in parts, each separately wrapped in thick bubble wrap.
