We therefore highly recommend waiting until all desired auctions from the same themed auction have ended before completing payment. ──────────────────── Franklin Mint – Floral Cloisonné Egg on a 24-Karat Gold-Plated House of Fabergé Stand A richly decorated Franklin Mint cloisonné egg, presented on an ornate, 24-karat gold-plated House of Fabergé stand. Large violet and purple flowers form the centrepieces of the design, surrounded by deep green leaves and scrolling ornaments in turquoise, blue, pale lavender and burgundy. Fine gold-coloured outlines define the individual enamel sections against a textured golden background. The decoration continues around the egg, offering different combinations of colour and pattern from every angle. The contrast between the coloured enamel and the golden surfaces gives the piece a particularly luxurious appearance. The stand complements the floral decoration with a scalloped upper support, textured ornamental details and three curved feet. Together, the two components create an attractive display for a collector’s cabinet, mantelpiece or sideboard. ──────────────────── Materials, Markings & Size Franklin Mint decorative egg with multicoloured cloisonné enamel decoration on metal. House of Fabergé stand with 24-karat gold plating. The underside of the stand bears the House of Fabergé marking and an individual identification number, as photographed. Please also refer to the measuring photograph. ──────────────────── Composition & Condition This arrangement has been assembled by us from two separate pieces. The House of Fabergé stand originally accompanied a different egg and has now been paired with this Franklin Mint cloisonné egg. The two components were not originally issued together as a set. They are offered here as an individually arranged decorative ensemble. The stand shows some surface wear and variations in its gilded finish, visible in the close-up photographs. Please examine all images carefully for the condition of the enamel decoration, metal outlines and stand. The lot includes the decorated egg and the stand shown.
