FABERGE: Molded red-overlaid clear crystal caviar service in the shape of an egg, containing a small bottle, two glasses, and a small caviar bowl, with a bronze mounted frame, marked. Height: 22 cm; very beautiful object Composition: Openable egg box in cut crystal with red/ruby overlay, mount in gold/bronze metal, mirrored tray, carafe and liqueur glasses in matching cut crystal. Rarity and authenticity: pieces from the 1950s–1960s produced for the vodka/caviar or liqueur service under a Fabergé license are far more sought after than later industrial editions.
