This 'Spring Egg Basket With 9 Eggs' dates from the second half of the 20th century. The eggs were made of porcelain and delicately hand-painted with beautiful colorful paint and gilded with 22 kt gold paint. The basket is also made of porcelain and beautifully finished with 24 kt gold paint. They were made on commission for the Russian Tsar as a gift for his wife. There is only a limited edition. The 9 eggs are about 4 cm x 2.5 cm in size. The dimensions of the basket: 12 cm long x 11 cm high x 10 cm deep. The whole is in excellent condition with a few signs of aging. At the bottom of the basket is the typical stamp of the House of Fabergé. The whole will be carefully and insuredly shipped by several courier services of the buyer’s choice.
