F and S Beer Olive Drab Cone Top 164-10 RARE

Brewer/Business Name: Fuhrmann & Schmidt Brewing Co., Shamokin, PennsylvaniaManufacturer/Plant: Continental Can Co.Date of manufacture: circa 1940sUSBC reference: 164-10 Contents/Type: 12 ozDimensions: 2-3/4 w x 5 h. Comments/description: Scarce OD can. Whole can is surprisingly clean though there are bright scratches that are quite evident. We say surprisingly because most surviving ODs exhibit a lot of humidity and because this can has holes in the back through which the contents escaped and has associated heavier corrosion along the bottom rim from this leakage. The rest of the can still has a shine and nice contrast, making the label easy to read. Even the spout is clean. All items are original unless otherwise noted.
