Extravagant Vintage Gold Ring with Large Sapphires & Diamonds, 1950s

At the center of the cushion-shaped ring face are three large, natural sapphires, cut into beautiful octagons, which together weigh more than 11.80 ct. What makes these sapphires special is that they are untreated—meaning they have not been heated or artificially enhanced in colour or clarity. This makes them rare collector’s items. The three blue stars are magnificently accented. Delicate brilliant-cut diamonds with a combined total weight of 1.55 ct form a sparkling frame. What we see is a symphony of gold, blue, and white—colours that complement each other superbly in surprising ways. The ring makes a spectacular, captivating impression.
