Todas las subastas / Etnográfica / Exquisite Carved Citrine Quartz Heart with Pink...
A Natural Gold-Colored Piece of Art — This exceptional lot features a heart-shaped sculpture carved from a quartz matrix and covered with a sparkling citrine crystal druse. The smooth heart shape magnificently frames the cavernous interior, where myriad crystal points of citrine quartz capture and reflect light with intense golden and orange glints. The vibrant color of Citrine is natural and testifies to a natural heating geological process that transformed amethyst quartz into this beautiful golden variety. At the center of the heart, a distinctive inclusion of pink Apophyllite adds a delicate yet captivating color contrast, creating a unique focal point and an interesting dialogue between the two mineralogies. The Apophyllite presents itself in a clustered formation, its light-colored tips rise elegantly from the sea of Citrine crystals, enriching the composition and the aesthetic appeal of the piece. The back of the heart shows the original geode matrix, with natural hues ranging from gray to beige, offering a rustic contrast and a testament to the piece’s rocky origin. This specimen has been skillfully polished on the outer edges to enhance its shape and surface luster, while the interior has been left in its natural crystalline formation. Ideal for interior decoration, to enrich a collection of rare minerals, or as a distinctive decorative element, this Citrine heart with Apophyllite is a true natural masterpiece elevated by human intervention. Its presence is striking, capable of drawing attention and stimulating curiosity, making it a conversation piece and an aesthetic investment. The lot includes an elegant golden metal stand, designed to best display the sculpture, allowing its beauty to be admired from every angle. This is not just a mineral, but a true work of natural art, combining the intrinsic beauty of the mineral kingdom with the aesthetics of a sculpted form. The irregularities and small color variations, as well as the presence of Apophyllite, are intrinsic features of the specimen’s natural formation and enhance its uniqueness and authenticity. The overall condition is good, as seen in the photographs, and the piece is ready to be placed in its new home or collection.
