Todas las subastas / Varios / Ex voto - Brass, Wood - 20th - Virgin and Child - 24 cm
Stunning decorative brass plaque depicting the Virgin and Child seated on her throne. • Style: Religious iconography in a medieval Gothic-inspired style. • Origin: Faithful relief replica of the engraved copper plates from Westminster Abbey, originally designed for the brass rubbing technique. • Mounting: Fixed on a rigid base with a dark granite-like / composite stone appearance that beautifully brings out the gold reflections of the metal. Good condition with patina of use As with all of my items auctioned on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (only dusting), nor any modification since purchase Happy bidding to all Please look carefully at the photos that form part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered described. No shipping outside the EU; if you are outside the European Union you may bid on one of my lots, however no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Given the new import/export regulations to the USA there will be no shipping to that country anymore Professional, careful shipping, with signature on delivery and insurance
