Evolux - Niek Hiemstra - Lamp - Iron - Mid-century

A stylish mid-century modern pendant lamp is offered. This pendant lamp was designed by the renowned Dutch designer Niek Hiemstra for Hiemstra Evolux in the 1960s. The design perfectly reflects the clean lines and functional character for which Dutch design lighting from this period is valued internationally. The lamp stands out for its elegant combination of a dark gray to black metal shade with a striking conical copper element at the top. The original porcelain socket and the refined choice of materials give the piece a high-quality and timeless appearance. The shade has a diameter of about 41 cm and the total height at the moment is 60 cm. The lamp is in very nice condition, appropriate for its age of about 60 years. There are only light signs of use, which are minimal. This lamp is a beautiful example of Dutch design from the heyday of modernism and a valuable addition for enthusiasts of mid-century lighting and interior design. This lot is carefully packed and shipped worldwide with PostNL via the Catawiki shipping service.
