Escuela Impresionista Europea(XX) - Jarron con Girasoles

Title: Vase with Sunflowers School: European Impresionista School (20th century) Style: Floral Impressionism Technique: Oil on canvas adhered to board ㅤ Circle and artistic influence: Work tied to the tradition of the European floral still life of the 20th century, with influences of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist painting applied to the representation of flowers. The composition, centered on the chromatic intensity of the sunflowers and the contrast between yellows, ochres and deep greens, recalls the renewal of the floral genre developed since the late 19th century. The simplified treatment of the background and the attention given to color place the work within a decorative and luminous interpretation of the still life. The composition represents an abundant bouquet of sunflowers arranged in a light-toned vase on a warm-toned surface. The flowers are arranged at different heights, creating a vertical and dynamic composition in which the large yellow and golden corollas stand out. ㅤ The foliage, executed with deep greens and grayish nuances, provides contrast and volume to the whole. The neutral background, resolved with beige and greenish-gray tones, allows focusing attention on the bouquet. The brushwork and chromatic treatment give the scene a decorative, warm and luminous character. The work is presented with a wide classical and ornamental frame, finished in aged golden tones. It features stepped moldings and abundant vegetal decoration in relief, accompanied by a broad inner clear interspace that visually enhances the painting. ㅤ Observations: The work may sustain damage during transport even with proper packaging.
