Enzo Melchiorre (1931) - Maisons dans le port / Riflessi sull'acqua

Enzo Melchiorre (1931) – Houses in the Port / Reflections on the Water – Oil on panel – Signed – Original wooden frame. Suggestive work by Enzo Melchiorre (1931), Italian artist known for his compositions dedicated to coastal landscapes, ports, architecture and especially to the reflections of light on the water. The work presents a refined composition in tones of gray, beige, ochre and blue, with buildings and port structures dissolving into the reflection of the water. The free and blended brushwork creates a suspended and particularly luminous atmosphere, characteristic of Melchiorre's output. The work is signed on the lower right and is offered complete with its original/period wooden frame, restored, which contributes to the overall presentation of the painting. Certification and stamp on the back of the work. The work is particularly interesting for collectors of Italian art of the second half of the twentieth century and for those who appreciate modern figurative painting based on the theme of light and reflection.
