Rare Gallé Establishments candy box (1904–1936), made around 1910 in multilayer acid-etched glass. Of remarkable triangular shape, the so-called Reuleaux triangle, it features a rich naturalistic decoration inspired by the aquatic world, characteristic of the École de Nancy: marsh landscape and aquatic vegetation running around the circumference of the box, in a subtle palette of turquoise blue, green, amber and ivory. The lid is animated by a prominent dragonfly, an emblematic motif of the Art Nouveau repertoire and particularly sought after in Gallé's production. Gallé signature within the decoration.
