During the Art Deco period (around 1920-1930) this faience produced many animal or figurative sculptures and binders with the help of this technique of white earthenware or craquelé enamel cream. In their catalog from that period we find several variants of characters from the Commedia dell'arte, including these dreamy Pierrots or musicians, who share exactly the same stylized silhouette, the same thick rectangular base and the distinctive cracked glossy finish.
