Emanuel zola (zolo) - Fotografia a Il Cairo di Zolo 1926

This photograph was taken in Cairo in front of the workshop of Giuseppe Parvis, a famous cabinetmaker of Lombard origin who made furniture in Moorish style or inspired by ancient Egypt. The workshop was located in downtown Cairo, in the Muski Bazaar. The two men in the photo are the Egyptologists Percy E. Newberry and Arthur E.P.B. Weigall. The frame is wooden with mother-of-pearl decorations.
