ELICA aesthetics of QUARTZ: BI-TERMINATED and MILKY

Splendid specimen of Faden quartz, colorless variety, originating from the well-known locality of Tole, Wana, in South Waziristan, Pakistan. The piece presents as an aggregate of perfectly transparent crystals, many of them biterminated, traversed by the characteristic filamentous white line (the "Faden", German for "thread") that testifies to the particular growth genesis of this quartz variety, due to recrystallization along a crack that is progressively opening. The ensemble of crystals, well defined and arranged in a harmonious way, gives the piece a particularly aesthetic and scenographic appearance. These features add aesthetic and mineralogical value to the piece. It is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always indicated in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in hue may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
