Eleonora Stol (1946-2022) - Figuren

Large-scale, expressive and colorful painting by the Dutch artist Eleonora Stol, executed in a vivid visual language where figurative elements, abstract forms and handwritten texts come together. On the left of the composition appears a stylized female figure with long hair outlined in red and pink. Her face is shown in profile, with strong black contour lines and a hand resting against her chest. In the center and on the right unfolds a layered composition of geometric planes, architectural forms, a cross-shaped motif, and a vase with green and dark grape clusters. The painting is dominated by intense yellow, turquoise, bright pink, red and green. Transparent color fields, spontaneous brushwork and drips enhance its dynamic character. The combination of recognizable representations and freely painted elements gives the work a pronounced expressionist visual language. Signed and dated Dimensions: 145 × 110 cm.
