Elegant pair of Art Deco bookends, signed Jamar famous French sculptor renowned for his stylized animal Art Deco creations. Bookends depicting Chickadees in front of their nests, in silvered metal or patinated régule, resting on a white veined marble base. These decorative sculptures perfectly illustrate the stylized animal aesthetic of the 1930s, highly prized in Art Deco.
