It is therefore understandable that so many people secretly desire rings with diamonds..." We discovered these lines in a jewellery brochure from the 1930s. And when we look at this ring, we understand why: because the diamond jewellery of that time was of such finesse, of such precision of execution, that hardly any goldsmith today can match it. Curved, hand-cut grooves run through the white platinum and wrap around the centrally set diamond like a veil of lace. The transitional cut of the diamond and the design allow us to date the ring to around 1930. As its hallmark suggests, it was probably made in Germany.
