A simple pendant with a single diamond is a classic companion. The minimalist design focuses on the natural beauty of the stone. Nothing distracts from its light and fire - and at the same time it can be worn in a variety of ways, both in everyday life and on special occasions. This necklace from our workshop presents an antique diamond from the late 19th century. The stone in the so-called "Old European Cut" has a weight of 0.37 carats and sparkles in rare white (G). The stone has a few light-colored inclusions in its edge area, but these hardly dampen its brilliance. The proportions of the diamond do not yet follow the standard of today's brilliant cut diamonds. Rather, the aim was to find the optimum balance between the best brilliance on the one hand and the least possible loss of material during cutting on the other. The result is a stone that has a somewhat softer fire than today's brilliant-cut diamonds, but which is a very individual, unique stone. The restrained, classic platinum setting was created on our behalf in southern Germany. It holds the stone securely and always draws the eye back to the diamond. The matching platinum anchor chain has also been newly made. It is finely crafted and feels soft and comfortable against the skin.
