A collection of Egyptian papyrus fragments from Chapter 125 of the Book of the Dead, inscribed with vertical columns of hieroglyphic text in black ink, separated by ruled lines. The fragments are illustrated with polychrome vignettes depicting rows of funerary deities and mummiform figures, with details painted in red, blue, black and white. Mounted in modern presentation frames. Size: 525mm x 260mm; Weight: 5.8kg Provenance: Prince Collection, 1990s–2014; Ex. Christie's, 5 Oct. 2000, lot 101.
