Exterior dimensions in cm (height / width / depth): 53.5 / 29.2 / 40 Wheels: dual wheels with brakes on the front Delivery excludes the decorations/model cars. The Porsche 917 was striking due to the car’s unique construction. The chassis was aluminum, the body was fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and the engine was a so-called 180°-V12 (a combination of two Porsche 911 engines). The Porsche 917 was widely used during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it won in 1970 and 1971. The car also won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1971.
