Very special statue based on the famous canvas the scream from E. Munch. Beautiful art object that is made by hand and placed on green marble 38cm high On May 2, 2012, a version of the work was auctioned for a record price at a New York auction house. The Scream raised an amount of 119.9 million dollars (more than 91 million euros). It thus became the most expensive painting owned by a private individual. The Scream is a psychic self-portrait by Edvard Munch. The painting is based on her own traumatic experience. One evening Munch was walking back to the city of Oslo with friends.
