Over them, a crescent moon and a luminous disk place the scene in an imagined night, where the figures, objects and background structures seem to belong to the same architecture. Eve Lezcano builds the composition through the alternation of enveloping curves and vertical planes. The turquoise provides continuity to the whole, while yellows, pinks and whites illuminate the faces. The guitar concentrates the warm emphasis and establishes a path that links the bottom of the canvas to its far right edge. The proximity of the figures suggests a moment of shared listening. Between the shapes that recall facades and the small objects in the foreground, the music takes on a visual presence: it organizes the encounter and lends the night an intimate and livable character.
