Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / E. García - Las tres naranjas XL
“Three Oranges” is a 100 × 70 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work presents a still life with a simple, balanced composition, featuring three oranges arranged on a white plate. Behind them, a large clear glass bottle and a light fabric complete an intimate scene built from few elements. The intensity of the oranges immediately draws the eye. Their orange and reddish tones contrast with the blues of the fabric and the turquoise background, while white reflections on the fruit and the glass introduce luminosity. The layering of fabrics, with folds treated with broad, visible brushstrokes, adds movement and depth to the composition. The free handling of color, the simplification of forms, and the expressive brushwork show echoes of fauvism. Ernest García uses the contrast between warm and cool colors to transform everyday objects into a composition with great chromatic strength, without needing to resort to a strictly realistic representation. “Three Oranges” revisits the classical genre of still life from a contemporary perspective, reducing the scene to its essential elements and making color, light, and the painting’s materiality the true protagonists. Autenticidad y Envío: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipment. After payment is confirmed, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and ship it. Delivery time will depend on the destination, with a maximum of up to ten business days.
