Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / E. García - El rincón de lectura XL
“El rincón de lectura” is a painting measuring 100 × 70 cm by contemporary artist Ernest García. The work represents an intimate space dedicated to reading, built around a large blue armchair facing a library full of books. The absence of human figures makes the interior itself the protagonist and suggests a moment of calm, silence and disengagement. The composition is articulated through an intense range of blues and turquoises that dominates the wall, the shelves and the chair. Against this cold backdrop, the spines of the books stand out in reds, oranges, yellows, greens and pinks, creating small bands of color that provide rhythm and vitality. The plants introduce different shades of green and visually connect the interior with the light entering through the large bay window. The visible brushwork, the simplification of forms and the freedom of color show echoes of Fauvism. The color is not limited to describing objects, but organizes the composition and builds the atmosphere of the space. The large suspended lamp, the stacked books and the vegetation reinforce the cozy and lived-in character of the scene. “El rincón de lectura” transforms a small domestic space into a personal refuge, evoking the pleasure of stopping, reading and enjoying moments of tranquility surrounded by books and nature. Authenticity and Shipping: The work is offered directly by E. García, guaranteeing its authenticity with a certificate signed by the artist himself. The painting will be carefully rolled and protected inside a sturdy cardboard tube for shipping. After payment confirmation, a period of three days is required to prepare the piece and send it.
