Douglas squirrel Taxidermy wall mount - Tamiasciurus...

Take a good look at all the photos. The Douglas's squirrel (Tamiasciurus douglasii) is a pine squirrel found in the Pacific coastal regions of western North America. It is sometimes known as the Chickaree squirrel or pine squirrel, but since Chickaree is also used for the American red squirrel and the pine squirrel for the genus Tamiasciurus, these alternate names should be avoided. The King River Indians called it the “Pillillooeet,” in reference to its distinctive alarm cry. This taxidermy is in perfect condition. Mounted on a hanging display stand, a pine cone between its paws, the colors and the animal’s mischievous gaze are sublime. The last shot shows a specimen in its natural habitat. A creature of great gentleness, it is prominently presented for you, here and only here, on Catawiki, at €1 with no reserve price !!!! Not to be missed. (All our packages are securely prepared with materials specifically adapted for this purpose, and sent via Colissimo, with a tracking number, no later than the day after your payment, excluding weekends and holidays).
