Amtliche Beglaubigung (Notariatsinstrument) der freien Reichsstadt Dortmund aus der Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts. Das in brauner Tinte in einer gestochen scharfen Kanzleikurrent verfasste Dokument behandelt eine rechtliche Angelegenheit der namhaften westfälischen Adelsfamilie von Hövel. Namentlich genannt werden unter anderem Caspar Dieterich von Hövel sowie Anna Catarina von Hövel. Die Urkunde besticht durch ihre kalligraphische Qualität und den exzellenten Erhaltungszustand der Handschrift. Die Schlussformel mit der eigenhändigen Signatur des Stadtsekretärs Henrich Hoffmann unterstreicht den offiziellen Charakter des Schriftstücks. Official notarized certification (notarial instrument) issued by the Free Imperial City of Dortmund in the mid-17th century. The document, written in brown ink in a precise chancery cursive (Kanzleikurrent), concerns a legal matter involving the notable Westphalian noble family von Hövel. Among those mentioned by name are Caspar Dieterich von Hövel and Anna Catarina von Hövel. The document stands out for its high calligraphic quality and the excellent preservation of the handwriting.
