Dining table - Wood

Vintage dining set consisting of an extendable dining table and four matching chairs. The table features a rosewood veneer top with a rich and expressive grain. The extension leaf allows the table to be enlarged when needed. Because the extra leaf has been exposed to less sunlight over the years, it has retained a darker tone than the main tabletop. This creates a visible colour difference when the table is extended. The four chairs have elegant wooden frames and are upholstered in a green toned fabric, which complements the warm colour of the rosewood. Condition: good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use to the table and chairs. The tabletop shows normal wear consistent with its age. The extension leaf is darker in colour due to less exposure to sunlight. The upholstery also shows light signs of use. Please view the photos carefully for a clear impression of the condition, as they form part of the description. A stylish vintage dining set with warm materials, clean proportions and a classic mid century appearance. The table can be extended by 49.5cm creating a total width of 170cm.
