Diandra V. e Simone C. - Legami

The work, titled "Legami", is composed of five blocks of wood joined together in a single structure. The different pieces link to each other like in a protective embrace, where each element supports and guards the other. Each block of wood is rich in details that emerge from a deep carving process that gives the surface a strong grooved, undulating texture. The pieces are positioned on different planes and layered. Although there may be the visual impression that one of them is about to slip or fall, the structure is actually solid: every element remains perfectly anchored because it is held firmly together by the others.
