Bruun collection prior to his groundbreaking reference work, overlooked a major rarity. Weighing more than three times the mandated weight and featuring a reeded edge, this is by no means an accidental striking. As Bauert took up his position in 1763, there is little doubt that this is a presentation piece, intended to showcase his skills in the art of engraving. Estimate: €1,000 - €1,500.
