Presumably a pattern, this type was quickly discarded in favor of a production of uniface klippe coins. Of the utmost rarity and historical importance, it is the only other known example alongside the one in the Danish National Museum, which is similarly poorly struck. Uniface emergency issue minted during the Swedish siege of Christianstad (Kristianstad) Fortress during the Scanian War. Estimate: €8,000 - €10,000. Provenance: From the L.E. Bruun Collection.
