Daluxe Art - 1999 • Gold Monopoly Dog – 60 cm

Gold Monopoly Dog – 60 cm A powerful blend of street art, luxury and money culture. The Gold Monopoly Dog is a striking art object in which deep glossy black is combined with metallic gold and expressive paint splashes. Across the body runs a richly developed pop-art design with a money-inspired character, dollar symbols, banknotes and graffiti elements. Texts like “Money Creates Freedom” reinforce the theme and give the work a distinctly urban look. The gold-colored parts have a deliberately raw, layered finish, causing each detail to react differently to the light. The front is mainly finished in high-gloss black with gold splashes, while the sides and back reveal more of the extensive artwork. This makes the sculpture interesting from every angle and especially suitable as a statement piece in a modern interior, office, showroom or art collection. “Hand-finished polyester sculpture by Daluxe Art, created on a blank commercially manufactured base.”
