GENERAL: Daimler - 250 V8 Saloon - 1968 Daimler MKII. In its current state it is an ideal car to make profitable, for transporting personalities, and events for cinema and weddings. As an interesting fact about the model, the Daimler 250 V8 (based on the body of the iconic Jaguar Mk II) stood out for its lightweight alloy V8 engine designed by Edward Turner, which was considerably lighter than Jaguar's six-cylinder inline engine, giving it better weight distribution and a very balanced and smooth dynamic handling. CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA: The bodywork was recently polished and now has a very intense shine. As it has many years, the paint shows defects from aging and some marks, but it can be used perfectly in the state it is in. MECÁNICA: Mechanically the car runs well both cold and hot, but it has not been used regularly for many years, so a thorough inspection and tune-up would be advisable. Its automatic gearbox shifts smoothly and the eight-cylinder engine runs very smoothly, being at the time the top-of-the-line unit. It has just undergone a sanitation of the undersides and lower sides addressing some rust they had, so practically there is no rust to worry about. INTERIOR: It remains very original with its original upholstery, which is in good usable condition with some minor tears due to use and aging.
