Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Cyril Keller - Punktlandung
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978, in the Saarland region of Germany. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then, I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a unique expression. This passion still forms the foundation of my work today. I was particularly shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were crucial to my development. As his student, I could benefit from a knowledge and passion that continue to accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity. On this basis, I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the textures that emerge, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process, learned craft meets intuition and joy in experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and bring lasting joy to their viewers. Each work leaves room for personal thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and reveal new aspects over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the wish to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for delivery. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
