Cylux – Silver Pocket Watch with Rose-Gold-Plated Case Back - 1900-1949

An antique Cylux pocket watch distinguished by its octagonal silver case, rose-gold-plated decorative panels and finely detailed dial. The white dial features stylised Arabic numerals with gilt accents, ornate hands, an outer minute track and a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock. The contrasting gold-coloured details give the dial an elegant appearance. The case back is particularly attractive, combining finely engraved geometric patterns with rose-gold-plated panels and a central ornamental motif. The contrast between the silver and rose-gold tones creates a distinctive decorative finish. The case bears a French crab hallmark, associated with silver of 800/1000 fineness, as well as a diamond-shaped maker’s mark.
