Cristallerie Saint-Louis - Vase (2) - Capucine - Frosted Perspex - Art Deco

These vases originate from the renowned French crystal and glass manufacturer Cristallerie de Saint-Louis. They concern the classic model "Capucine" (also cataloged with the decoration Feuilles et guirlandes), made from characteristic soft green opaline glass (often referred to as vert opaline or jadeite). This specific model with the relief of leaves on the neck and flower garlands on the rounded base originally dates from the late 19th century (and can be found in Saint-Louis commercial catalogs of, among others, 1870 and 1890). The vases are in Mint condition. • Height: about 31 to 31.5 cm • Diameter at the top (neck): about 14.5 to 15.5 cm • Diameter of base (foot): about 9 cm • Weight: approximately 1100 grams per vase The vases are not signed.
