CORUM COIN WATCH TWENTY DOLLARS 18K gold (750) wristwatch; the dial consists of an 18K gold (750) U.S. $20 coin, inscribed “Corum Quartz,” with black wire hands. Crown set with an inverted brilliant-cut diamond. Snap-on case back in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand) featuring the reverse side of the 1899 coin; inside, marked “Guyot & Cie” (hammerhead hallmark 122). Quartz movement signed CWC. 18K gold (750 thousandths) lugs set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Black leather strap with an 18K gold (750 thousandths) pin buckle signed Corum. Watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case; lugs require servicing due to significant play with the strap bars, likely caused by the clamping screws. Circa 1970 Diameter 35 mm Gross weight 45.8 g
