Corneille (1922-2010) - Herbes

A magnificent, very early watercolor with Indian ink, a drawing by Corneille titled 'Herbes' from 1944. Three years later, in 1947, Corneille produced a new version of 'Herbes' which is listed in the book: Rue Santeuil, 20, by Studio Koster, published in 2003, page 80. Bring a museum piece into your home with this unique work by one of the Netherlands' greatest artists. It is rare for such an early work by one of the Netherlands' best-known artists to become available for a private collection. The provenance (origin) of this work is guaranteed by Foundation Guillaume Corneille. And it comes with a certificate signed by Mrs N. (Natacha) Van Beverloo (Natacha Suzanne Laktionoff), widow of Corneille. The drawing measures 20 x 24 cm and is framed in a sleek black wooden frame with Art Glass, with an overall size of 33 x 37 cm. If you prefer a different frame, this is of course possible.
