Coppia di Vasi in Porcellana di Parigi

Elegant Pair of Paris Porcelain Vases, Napoleone III Style (1854-1860) Description: Refined pair of white porcelain vases shaped in France in the second half of the 19th century (circa 1854-1860), fully in the Napoleone III / Louis Philippe style. These historic antiques, linked to the renowned Porcelaine de Paris production and crafted in the Jacob Petit style, stand out for timeless elegance. Details and Workmanship: • Unusual and Refined Design: The contoured shape gives the vases a unique and sophisticated appearance. • Relief Decoration: The body is entirely molded with foliate relief motifs and Rococo ribbing, finely outlined in patent gold, as well as the gently scalloped edge. • Hand-painted: The pristine white background serves as a canvas for elegant and pretty hand-painted floral bouquets. The colors, vivid and realistic, are aesthetically well distributed. The meticulous attention to detail and precision of execution testify to the skill of a talented miniature painter, making these vases two small works of art. • Base and Supports: The vases rest on elegant scroll feet on a square-shaped base with rounded profiles, also embellished with gold details. History and Provenance: Made in France, in the outskirts of Paris between 1854 and 1860, these vases were created by master craftsmen in accordance with ancient traditions, using high-quality kaolin as the raw material. The term Porcelaine de Paris does not denote a single company, but collectively refers to the precious wares produced by various Parisian workshops and decoration studios from 1773 to the end of the 19th century. The authors, often anonymous or unknown, brought to life rare pieces that today are among the most coveted by collectors and are present in numerous museums worldwide. Dimensions: • Height: 17 cm • Diameter: 10 cm Condition: The vases are in generally good condition considering their age. The gilding appears worn in some areas, a detail that does not diminish their value but rather adds charm and historical authenticity to the two objects. Note: One vase is in excellent condition; the second shows light abrasions on the lower edge of the pedestal (see detailed photos). Additional Information Packaging: We guarantee maximum care and protection in packaging, using professional materials suitable for preserving the integrity of the art glass during all stages of transport. Shipping: Fast, secure, and trackable shipping with an international courier.
