Descriptio Copper alloy. Dimensions: 9.8 × 9.4 cm. Set of traditional weights cast in copper alloy, used as measuring instruments in pre-modern West African trade systems. These weights were part of complex exchange and value control systems and often featured geometric or symbolic shapes. Beyond their practical function, they constitute material evidence of the trade networks, economic organization, and metallurgical knowledge of the region’s cultures. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipment: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
