Official Walt Disney - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Biscuit Tin - J. Schuybroek S.A. Hoboken-Anvers - ca. 1938 An authentic, officially licensed rectangular tin biscuit box featuring "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Produced in Belgium by the renowned manufacturer J. Schuybroek S.A. (Hoboken-Antwerp) in the late 1930s (circa 1938), shortly after the release of the iconic Walt Disney animated feature film. The lid beautifully depicts a lively scene of Snow White dancing with the dwarfs, framed by a signature gold-toned Art Deco embossed border. The side panels feature key moments from the fairy tale, including the dwarfs gathering around the glass coffin and the Evil Queen disguised as the old witch offering the poisoned apple. • Variant: This is the standard, non-locking edition originally produced with a regular hinged lid (no lock mechanism or keyhole present). • Dimensions: 19.5 x 11.5 cm, Height: 7 cm Condition Report: The tin is in vintage, used condition with clear signs of aging, which is typical for lithographed tinware of this era. • Exterior: The lithography on the top and side panels remains remarkably vibrant with good color quality. There are minor scratches, light scuffs, and some paint loss/wear along the gold-colored edges and corners. No major dents. • Interior: The inside of the tin and the inner lid show significant oxidation, discoloration, and surface rust (as shown in the pictures). Please review all the provided photographs carefully to form your own accurate impression of its condition. A wonderful and highly collectible piece of early Disneyana history.
