Console table - Wood, Marble

Antique Wooden Console with Black Marble Top – Louis XV Style Elegant antique wall console, made of solid wood and featuring a beautiful rectangular black marble top, richly decorated by natural white, grey and pinkish veining. The console has an elegant structure with four slightly curved cabriole-style legs, characteristic of late 19th-century decorative furniture. The front is fitted with a spacious drawer, equipped with two finely decorated metal handles. Delicate mouldings and decorative linear details enrich the front of the piece. The marble top is particularly striking, with its unique natural veining and contrasting colours, giving the console a refined and distinctive appearance. Period: late 19th – early 20th century, stylistic attribution. Style: Louis XV / Napoleon III, with classical influences. Materials: wood, marble and metal. Dimensions: height 80 cm, width 82 cm, depth 42 cm. Condition The console is in antique/vintage condition, showing signs of age and previous use consistent with its history. There are visible scratches, abrasions, variations in the finish, wear to the wood and some repairs or restorations to the legs, all visible in the photographs. The marble shows natural veining, irregularities and age-related marks. The drawer is present and functional. Buyers are advised to carefully examine all photographs, which form an integral part of the description. A highly decorative and versatile piece, suitable for an entrance hall, living room, corridor, bedroom, study or classical interior, where it can be used as an elegant console or occasional writing table.
