A collection of 10 terracotta oil lamps, including, from top left: an elongated lamp with a large central filling hole, long nozzle and radiating ribs around the shoulder; two leaf-shaped lamps, each with a radiating shoulder ornament; two lamps, each with an elongated nozzle and projecting handle; a rounded lamp with concentric mouldings around the filling hole; a lamp with a broad radiating shoulder; a compact example with concentric rings and a short nozzle; a lamp with scrolling vegetal ornament around the discus; and an elongated lamp with a plain central field and narrow nozzle. Size: 75-110mm x 60-80mm; Weight: 835g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of a long-standing private family collection assembled between the 1960s and 2000.
