A collection of maritime travel ephemera dating from 1930 to 1938, documenting transatlantic, trans-Pacific, and South American voyages. The grouping includes a passenger list for the American Quadruple Screw Turbine S.S. Leviathan (59,956 tons) for a voyage from New York to Cherbourg and Southampton on June 11, 1930, under Commander Harold A. Cunningham. An American Republics Line dinner menu for the S.S. Brazil dated November 1, 1938, features a cover photograph of Palacio Salvo in Montevideo and an attached blue and gold silk tassel. Promotional material for The President Liners includes interior photographs of the S.S. President Taft tea room and an S.S. President Coolidge stateroom. The lot also contains a Grace Line California cruise brochure, a United States Lines passenger list booklet with a compass rose graphic, and two black and white photographs of ships at sea. Three postcards are present: a 1930 S.S. America postcard with a handwritten voyage narrative, an S.S. Manhattan card addressed to the Hotel Vanderbilt, and a 1936 card referencing the Munargo Line.
