Todas las subastas / Varios / Coffee pot - Brass, Bronze - Samovar {tap faucet}
This object is an antique Dutch oil samovar (also historically known in the Netherlands as kraantjeskan), a type of urn for coffee or tea. This specific model, mainly made of brass or bronze, was produced by notable Dutch manufacturers (such as Daalderop) between the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Tripod structure: The bulb-shaped body rests on three curved legs finished with dark insulating feet, designed not to damage the surface of the table. Pouring tap (Tappehane): It features a small front lever tap to pour the hot beverage directly. Lower burner: Under the main body there is the original oil or alcohol burner, positioned on the supporting tray, used to keep the water or beverage warm.
