Coffee grinder - Brass, Wood - coffee grinder

Antique manual coffee grinder made of brass/copper, probably from the late 19th or early 20th century. This type of grinder was used to grind coffee beans by hand. The beans are placed in the hopper at the top and ground by turning the crank. The ground coffee is then collected in the small drawer at the front. The grinder is richly designed with decorative edges, bulbous ornaments, and a beautiful aged patina, which makes it not only functional but also very decorative. Condition: used, with normal signs of age and use. There is a small hole in the copper/brass bean hopper, clearly visible in the detail photos. The patina is largely preserved and contributes to the authentic character of the object. A characterful antique coffee grinder, of interest to collectors of old kitchen items, coffee accessories, and antique household goods.
