Claudio Rolfi (1960) - Composizione con brocca rossa

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV broadcasts dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important journalism outlets and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events are the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli in Rome in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as scenery for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe. Oil painting and mixed media on a canvas-backed panel. The work is a still life (composition) and is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and stamped and shipped with FedEx.
