Lot of 10 porcelain Christmas plates "Kirke Platten" – Limited Edition Imerco / Produced by Baco (1969-1980) – With Boxes Splendid vintage collection consisting of 10 wall Christmas plates (Juleplatten) in fine porcelain, decorated in the classic cobalt blue monochrome style. This is the prestigious Kirke Platten series, a limited edition (Very limited edition) commissioned and distributed in Denmark by the renowned brand Imerco, and physically produced in Germany by the Baco manufactory [Image 28]. Each piece depicts a historic Danish church or cathedral immersed in a characteristic winter landscape. • Accessories: Original vintage boxes included (visible in photo) • Mounting: Holes on the back integrated into the porcelain for immediate wall mounting The collection covers almost the entire 1970s with the following editions: • 1969: Ribe Domkirke (Ribe Cathedral) • 1971: Typical church with stepped façade • 1973: Grundtvigs Kirke (Copenhagen, organ-pipe façade) • 1974: Medieval two-tower church • 1975: Classical church with a pointed steeple • 1976: Østerlars Rundkirke (Bornholm round church) • 1977: Budolfi Kirke (Aalborg Cathedral) • 1978: Gothic cathedral with a slender spire • 1979: Holmens Kirke (Copenhagen, canal view) • 1980: Sankt Bendts Kirke (Ringsted) Excellent vintage condition (like new). The porcelain has no glaze runs, chips, cracks, or restorations of any kind. The blue color perfectly preserves its original brightness. The vintage boxes are intact and show only slight and normal signs of aging.
