China Peking Aubusson - Carpet - 200 cm - 140 cm

We present a beautiful Beijing rug, Aubusson-inspired, produced between the 1970s and 1980s. Its elegant composition combines a dusty green background with a wide cream-toned border, decorated with roses, leaves and ornamental motifs. In the center, a refined floral medallion stands out, bringing balance and character to the piece. It is woven in wool over cotton using the manual tufting technique. The pile is fixed to the back with a special compound and protected by a textile lining, which preserves its function and stability perfectly. The rug is in very good condition, with practically minimal use. * Origin: Beijing, China * Style: Floral Aubusson * Era: 1970s-1980s * Technique: manual tufting * Material: wool over cotton * Back: composite fixation and protective textile lining * Measurements: 200 x 140 cm * Main color: dusty green * Condition: very good condition A light cleaning is recommended to remove dust!
