TO NOTE: • Legendary 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 • Fully rebuilt/restored while respecting the vehicle’s originality • Registered as a Historic Vehicle in Spain • V8 396 cu in Big Block engine in concours condition • Entire underside immaculate and customized X-pipe exhaust system HISTORY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Presented in 1966 as General Motors’ answer to the Mustang, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro represents the peak of the first generation of this iconic American muscle car. This 1969 example is equipped with the coveted Super Sport (SS) package with the Big Block V8 396 cubic inch engine. The unit being shown has undergone a meticulously executed full restoration, using original parts and paying attention to the smallest details to maintain fidelity to the factory original specifications. The vehicle is in exceptionally concours-worthy condition, as seen in the recently conducted photographic reportage. BODYWORK/PAINT: The vehicle sports a green paint finish with white racing stripes on the hood that highlight the 1969 Muscle Car aesthetics. The body shows an impeccable appearance in panels and chromed trim. The underside chassis structure is pristine, with no signs of corrosion or rust, featuring black high-gloss floor panels and fully renewed subframes, suspension components, and mounts. INTERIOR: The cabin features black vinyl upholstery with front bucket seats in pristine condition. It includes a central console with wood-grain inlays, floor-mounted shifter, central auxiliary gauge cluster in the console, and a sporty steering wheel bearing the SS emblem. The dash, headliner, door panels with Astro Ventilation vents, and the instrument cluster (speedometer calibrated in MPH) are in immaculate condition. It also has custom floor mats with the SS logo and a discreetly integrated Alpine audio system. MECHANICS: The engine bay houses the imposing Big Block 396 cu in V8 engine, presented in concours condition with the orange Chevrolet corporate block, chrome air cleaner with the engine insignia, chrome rocker covers, and neatly organized wiring. It features a gold-finished brake booster and sporty exhaust manifolds. From below, the transmission and pan are also painted orange, accompanied by a brand-new and clean stainless-steel dual exhaust system with an X-pipe section.
